Hi.

I'm Kerra Michele, and this is my dog, Lunchbox. Welcome to our blog! We generally write about easy tips to make a rental space feel more like home, but we also talk about our life and travels. I hope you like our stories and adventures!

Now that you've seen my fancy new staircase and how I did it, I thought you might like to see some beautiful and inspirational photos of other spaces that went in a similar direction. Do you have a staircase in your home? Or, more importantly, does your staircase have room to walk past hanging frames? (This is critical, as I discovered when I tried to take my comforter downstairs.) If so, here are some examples of staircases filled with goodies!

(Apartment renters generally don't find themselves with staircases within their homes.) Galleries can exist very happily on a regular wall.

gallery wall inspiration frames art wall photography photosI know that hanging things on a wall can seem very permanent and, therefore, scary. Maybe some of you renters don't want to fill a wall with holes because your landlord is a meanie. You can easily put up a picture ledge and lean things against the wall, making a few holes instead of many.

Now go, sweet grasshoppers! Be creative this weekend! But don't forget to send me your before and after photos.
